At St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, ministry means more than just the worship service—it’s how we care for each other and grow to serve Christ. We offer opportunities for all ages to connect, serve with and in their church community, and deepen their faith.

May 2025

Thank God we are in the full Spring season. The grass is growing and lawns look beautiful. I am so grateful for the unique passions, talents, and gifts displayed in our church. I am thankful for the Peanut Butter Egg Team, the Potato Rally Team, the team that makes our church beautiful inside and out, the Worship Team presentations, and for your church presence.

We’ll celebrate Mother’s Day this month on May 11 recognizing the women who have shared their love and care for all of us. May God bless them and richly reward them with good life.

Memorial Day in May is the beginning of summer vacation, barbecues, and family reunions. It is marked by parades and speeches. Flags and flowers are placed on the graves of many servicemen and women. We decorate the graves of the Civil War dead. We remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms that we enjoy. And we remember our loved ones who have gone on before. Christian believers remember the “good soldiers of Jesus Christ,” who paved the way for us in our Christian lives. Thank God for the good soldiers of Jesus Christ who have fought well, such as those who are mentioned in Hebrews 11 and our loved ones we name in our hearts.

May God bless you in whatever season of life you are in. The fullness of life is found in the relationship that is centered in Jesus Christ.

May the peace and strength of Christ keep us rooted and grounded in the power of Christ our Lord.
Blessings,
Pastor Chris.
Worship & Music Ministry:

Missions:

We are passionate about serving our community and beyond.
