Missions Report:
St. Mark’s Food Bank
Fall is here and schools are open!
We appreciate all the cereal donations! We delivered 19 boxes of cereal in early September and four other items. Children will enjoy a bowl of cereal before school and as a snack when they return home!
Bester Elementary Snacks
After contacting Bester and learning how much they appreciate our donation of snacks for the children, we will continue this outreach this school year! They received 20 boxes of 10 individual snack bags in September. Young children get tired and hungry during long afternoons, and a little “brain food” really helps. Thank You!
Feed My Starving Children:
We received a lovely thank you from Margaret Kane and her daughter, Kelly, for providing 183 mobile packs for hungry children so far this fall. Our collection will continue through December! Thank you for caring!
The Hope Center
October is The Hope Center Coat Drive. We had such nice coats to donate last year for their “coat giveaway” Please hang new or gently used coats on the hallway rail as you come in the front door. Let’s help keep our community warm!
Also, be looking for a list of food items needed for their food ministry. Thank you for your help!
Grace UMC Clothing Give-Away:
Thank you for the GREAT response in September for the lovely new and gently used children’s clothes and other needed items. Thank you to Pastor Chris for taking the donations to Grace UMC for the second Saturday’s Community Give-away. If you have questions, please see Joyce McClanathan!
